A Fourth LCU Chap Goes in the 2019 MLB Draft

Hill Alexander joined his fellow Chaps in the draft by being the 4th to have his name called in the 2019 proceedings as the Rays chose him 848th overall in the 28th round of the draft.

Alexander was the 2019 Heartland Conference Player of the Year as a Senior and played a solid right field in his only season as a Chap. Alexander also spent time at Midland College and Dallas Baptist. He hit .411 in 2019 with 14 bombs, 16 doubles and 54 RBI.
