You Probably Missed the Ice Slide at Lubbock’s Insane Inflatable 5K This Weekend [VIDEO]

The Insane Inflatable 5K returned to Lubbock Saturday, April 2. And with the random April Fool's Friday cold snap, Saturday morning was definitely an interesting one for the runners.

I am one of the emcees of these events, and this is the first time I've seen the inflatables covered in frost the morning of the event. But it made for a super-fun day for some of our early waves, including the very first wave of runners at 8:30 a.m. who got to slide down the starting line (and every inflatable after it) while it was covered in a slippery layer of frost. The video is definitely worth the watch today.

Notice how almost no one could stick the landing. But everybody won with style points and fun!
