With all the excitement that this past athletic season brought Texas Tech fans this year, picking one play for play of the year will be difficult.  We found four plays that really captured our emotion and had us on the edge of our seats when they took place.  The first I want to talk about is the touchdown pass that freshman quarterback Davis Webb threw to Bradley Marquez late in their game against TCU to seal the win.  Next is the diving grab that center fielder Devin Conley made in the 8th inning against the College of Charleston in the Super Regional that prevented the opposition from scoring.  The next play is another baseball play that happened during the regular season.  It was Zach Davis' steal of home to tie a close game up against the Texas Longhorns.  The last play that came to mind during this athletic season wasn't necessarily one that was positive, but it will be remembered none the less.  That play was the incident between Oklahoma State basketball star Marcus Smart and a Texas Tech fan that led to him being suspended.  That brings us to our FAN poll of the day.
