Verbal Altercation at a Lubbock Club Escalates Into a Stabbing

Lubbock Police Department is investigating a reported stabbing in northeast Lubbock.

The department said the stabbing occurred at Club Truth, located at 2806 East Parkway Drive at around 4 a.m. Thursday morning.

At the scene, responding officers found a 24-year-old woman with serious stab wounds. Lubbock Fire Rescue also responded to the scene.

The woman was quickly taken by EMS to a local hospital for treatment. Her current condition is not known.

The Lubbock Police Department said a verbal altercation escalated into a physical fight between two women. A 27-year-old male also received minor injuries in the fight. A suspect has yet to be publicly identified.
