Two Lubbock Men Arrested for Sex Crimes Involving Minors
On Friday, August 13th, 2 Lubbock men were arrested by the Texas Department of Public Safety for sex crimes involving minors.
KAMC News reports that DPS filed for a search warrant and seized the phone of Elizar Moreno along with various other items that day. This was after DPS received a tip concerning a man that allegedly possessed child pornography. The exact details concerning the tip that DPS received wasn't made clear in news reports.
On Moreno's phone, agents were able to find child pornography.
On top of this, Texas DPS arrested another suspect, Seth Jared Huffman, was also arrested for allegedly using online dating apps to solicit sex. On one occasion, it's said that Huffman attempted to solicit sex from an undercover agent who he thought was a minor. Any of the messages exchanged between Huffman and the agent weren't made public.
Huffman was arrested and charged with online solicitation of a minor for sexual conduct. Moreno was charged with possession of child pornography.
