Two Children Injured in Lubbock Shooting
Lubbock Police are investigating a shooting that sent two children to the hospital.
Just before midnight on Tuesday, LPD received a call that multiple shots had been fired at a home in the 2200 block of 87th Street. Two adults and five children were inside the home at the time of the shooting.
The two children injured are a 12-year-old and an 8-month-old infant. The 12-year-old was seriously injured, while the infant had minor injuries. Both were taken by ambulance to University Medical Center.
Police are continuing the investigation for possible evidence or surveillance video.
