Twitter Explodes After Texas Tech Ends Huge Baylor Win Streak
Texas Tech ended no. 1 Baylor's nation-best winning streak at 21 games in Waco in what seemed like a home game late for the Red Raiders. Live on ESPN2 there were highly audible "Raider! Power!" chants, at other times, when Texas Tech was on defense, chants of "DE-FENSE" echoed in Baylor's arena.
It was a beautiful sight to behold as Mark Adams picked up his second top 10 win in the last several days after beating Kansas on Saturday.
You can catch the recaps and highlights in a million different places but to be on social media in the immediate aftermath of the Red Raiders 65-62 win was a firestorm of excitement.
The team account was trolling Baylor's number one ranking by ranking their own highlight package:
The bear that Adams fought last year bears a striking resemblance to Baylor's mascot:
People couldn't get enough of Adonis Arms' monster dunk from late in the second half:
After the game, national media outlets, who've been bullish that Chris Beard did something nobody else could do in Lubbock, were falling at the feet of Head Coach Mark Adams:
Future players were reacting:

Even the Texas Tech football team was in the spirit:
Nobody was celebrating more than they were inside that locker room, though:
Baylor was the last undefeated team in the nation when the game tipped off at 6 p.m. Now, there are zero unbeaten teams remaining. It was a Baylor team that hadn't lost since before the NCAA tournament last season. National Champion, undefeated, rolling over everyone, but Baylor lost to Texas Tech in Waco.
Texas Tech fans can continue to celebrate. The team, however, has to get on to the next game, which comes on Thursday at 6 p.m. when Oklahoma State comes to Lubbock to play a rescheduled game.
