Get your taste buds ready, Miguel's Lubbock is open and setting the stage for some great Mexican food. They had their official opening on February 1st, so I had to head over and check them out.

When you first walk up you will be shocked at how colorful and fun it is. They have huge inside and outside areas with tables for any size group. Inside you walk up and can just order as a walk-up restaurant and find a table. There are a couple of different rooms inside Miguel's to choose from, plus a bar in the middle that has seating around it.

The outside is going to be a great place for a patio night when the weather gets warmer. They have tons of tables, swings, fireplaces and much more. Below you can see a picture of the outside area I grabbed to show y'all:

Now for what everyone in Lubbock really cares about: the food and drinks.

This is the first time I went and we got chips and guacamole, street tacos and elotes. It was all amazing. The street tacos were definitely my favorite. We tried all five and loved every one of them but the shredded beef was my favorite.

If you're of age and want to try some drinks they have a great menu for that. We tried the mango margarita and an alcohol agua fresca. They were both full of flavor and something I would get again.

They definitely have a wide range of options for everyone and I'm ready to go back and try something new. The bar is open Monday through Sunday from 2 p.m. to midnight, and the kitchen is open the same days but they don't start cooking until 4 p.m.

You can find out more about them on their Facebook or their location at 2002 Broadway Lubbock, Texas.
