The San Antonio Spurs had to wait a week but they finally have their NBA Finals opponent, the Miami Heat.  Miami defeated the Indiana Pacer in game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals in impressive fashion with a final score of 99-76 on Monday night.

LeBron James led the way once again for the Heat but did finally get some much needed help from fellow "Big 3" members Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh.  Wade finish the game with 21 points and 9 rebounds while Bosh had just 9 points and 8 rebounds but the difference was in their effort.  They were both attacking the rim from the opening tip and their offensive aggressiveness made life much easier for the reigning MVP LeBron James.  He had yet another great game 7 as he had 32 points, 8 rebounds, and added 4 assists.  His biggest contribution may have been on the defensive end of the floor though.  James basically kept Pacer Star Paul George from getting in any kind of rhythm.  George finished the game with a series low 7 points on just 2-9 shooting and to top it off he fouled out early in the fourth quarter.

With the win it gets us set up for a very interesting NBA Finals.  The Spurs and Heat sat out key players in both of the regular season meetings.  Miami did win both games but it was only by a combined eight points.  The NBA Finals are set to start on June 6 from the American Airlines Center in Miami.  Game 1 has a 8 pm tip-off and can be seen on ABC.
