The San Antonio Spurs regained the lead in the NBA Finals on Tuesday night as they beat the Miami Heat 111-92.  Kawhi Leonard (pictured on the left) scored a career-high 29 points, and the Spurs made a finals record 75.8 percent of their shots in the first half to jump out to a 71-50 lead at halftime.  "I don't think we'll ever shoot 76 percent in a half ever again," Spurs coach Gregg Popovich said.

Miami could never recover as they struggled defensively all night.  Heat forward Lebron James finished the game with 22 points, 7 assists, and 5 rebounds but it was too little too late.  They closed the gap to within seven points in the third quarter, but San Antonio responded and eventually put the game out of reach.

These two teams will stay in Miami as that is where game four will be played thanks to the NBA's new playoff format of 2-2-1-1-1.  Tip off for game four is set for Thursday at 8pm from the American Airlines Arena and can be seen on ABC.
