The San Antonio Spurs Falter in Game 4 of the NBA Finals

The San Antonio Spurs were looking to take a commanding 3-1 lead over the defending champion Miami Heat.  The "Big 3" for Miami finally showed why they brought that team together though as they won in impressive fashion 109-93 to even up the series at two games apiece.

LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh combined for 85 points which is the most ever by the "Big 3" in a playoff series since they came together.  Wade (Pictured on the Right) had his best game of the playoffs as he showed signs of the 2006 Dwyane Wade who was the NBA Finals MVP that year.  He erupted for 32 points, 10 of those coming in the fourth quarter, 6 rebounds, and added 4 assists to help the Heat even up the series.

Tim Duncan lead the way for the Spurs as he had 20 points and 5 rebounds, but he did not have the supporting cast he had in game three.  Danny Green and Gary Neal combined for 23 points which isn't bad, but compared to their 51 point output in game three, it was not enough.  Tony Parker did play dispite a grade one strain in his hamstring but was a shell of himself as he only had 15 points.  He did add 9 assists but his and Manu Ginobili's lack of production were too much to overcome.

The Spurs will hope to take the final game in San Antonio before the series shifts back to Miami for games six and seven.  Game five's tip-off is set for 7:00 pm on ABC from the AT&T Center.
