Kyler Edwards and Jahmi'us Ramsey combined for 40 points as the Red Raiders finished strong against Cal State Bakersfield on Sunday afternoon. Texas Tech let them hang around for a majority of the game before stretching out a lead in the second half.

Ramsey was a perfect 4-4 from three-point land and Edwards added three more as the Red Raiders shot better than 50% from behind the arc. Terrance Shannon Jr. finished with 9 and another highlight-reel dunk.

Saturday at 11:00 am the Red Raiders get on the floor at the United Supermarkets Arena against the much improved Oklahoma State Cowboys. Both teams start conference play at 9-3, but the Red Raiders have won 4 straight while the Cowboys have lost three of the last 5. It should be noted though that the Cowboys have not lost with their star point guard Isaac Likekele on the floor. The dynamic point guard returned from injury this week and will play in Lubbock against the Red Raiders.

The Cowboys also bring back everyone who contributed to the near-upset of Texas Tech last season and have added several talented faces to the mix. This will not be an easy task for Texas Tech even though they are favored to win the game.
