The Newest United Supermarkets Store Looks Incredible
I'm a longtime United Supermarkets Shopper. I frequented the store on 29th drive until it was shut down. Then I shopped at 4th and Slide before taking my shopping talents to 19th and Quakers Market Street selection.
On June 30th though I think all of that will change.
United Supermarkets is set to open up its newest location and this one looks to be its most original yet. Billed by the United Family as "next-generation" the newest store, located at 114th and Slide Road will feature some serious eats.
The grand opening will mark Lubbock's 12th United Family location and the 97th location across Texas and New Mexico.
The new grocery store is so much more than a grocery store though. According to United, the newest store will include Evie Mae's Barbeque cooked on location, a Tap House with craft beer and wine, a Chopsticks Noodle and Sushi Bar, and a Starbucks.
The store will also feature Streetside grocery pickup and delivery as well as the new Texas Take-out service which allows you to order deli items for curbside pickup. There will also be a full-service bakery, floral department, meat counter, and more.
Does this new location have it all or what?
I mean, it's all great I'm sure. I can say with 100 percent certainty that the United Super Markets sushi is severely underrated. The bakery items are great as well. The craft beer selection at the Taphouse is worth the trip alone. The thing that seals the deal for me though is the in-house on-location Evie Mae's at the store. Does it get better than that?
