The Miami Heat Win Game Six 103-100 in OT to Force a Decisive Game Seven for the NBA Title

The San Antonio Spurs were up 94-89 with just under :30 seconds away from claiming their fifth NBA title.  Preparations were being made for a championship celebration, but it was a bit premature as the Heat were far from finished.

LeBron James erupted in the fourth quarter as he lead the Heat back from what looked like a certain loss.  He finished the game with 32 points, 10 rebounds, and 11 assists with 18 of those points coming in the fourth quarter and overtime.  Ray Allen (Pictured on the Right) came up big as well as he hit a three pointer with 5.2 seconds left to force the extra time.  Allen also hit some clutch free throws in OT to help Miami to a 103-100 victory.

Tim Duncan had his best game of the playoffs as he had 30 points and 17 rebounds, but he scored 25 of those points in the first half.  Miami really clamped down on the defensive side of the floor in the second half as they held Duncan to just five points after halftime and kept all of San Antonio's shooters from getting in any kind of rhythm.

The Spurs will have to regroup with just one day rest before they lace them up for game seven.  They will have to really take advantage of their off day as all of their starters played at least 35 minutes last night.

Game seven and the NBA champion will be decided Thursday night with tip-off set for 8:00 pm on ABC from the American Airlines Center in Miami.
