"Linsanity" took a hit, but its far from over. The Miami Heat, likely the best team in the league dominated Jeremy Lin. Lin shot only 1-11 from the field, had only 8 points and three assists and 8 turnovers on the night. His performance was abysmal considering Lin is averaging 23.9 points and 9.2 assists per game since breaking into the league.

For the Heat Chris Bosh scored 25 points, Dwyane Wade added 22 and LeBron James almost had a triple double with with 20 points, nine rebounds and eight assists for Miami. The Heat have the best record in the NBA, going into the All-Star break 27-7.

Dwanye Wade told the Associated Press after the game, “First of all, he deserves all of the credit he’s been given, we knew it was going to be a tough task guarding him. … He’s a good player, but we put a lot of pressure on him and it was a success.”

The Heat concocted a formula to shut down Jeremy Lin, you can bet money on it that the rest of the teams in the NBA will do everything in their power to duplicate it.
