The Miami Heat Lose 91-77 to the Indiana Pacers to Force a Game 7

The Miami Heat were in perfect position to send themselves back the NBA Finals for the third year in a row. All they had to do was defeat the Indiana Pacers in Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Saturday Night.  The Pacers had other plans though as they beat the Heat with an impressive 91-77 victory.

The Indiana defense was able to keep Miami out of any kind of rhythm and held All-Star's Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh to a combined four points in the first half on 1-10 shooting from the floor.  They would end up with only 15 points total for the game going 4-19 shooting.

Paul George and Roy Hibbert led the way for Indiana in this pivotal game 6.  George had a team high 28 points while adding eight rebounds, five assists, and three steals in the win while Hibbert set the tone defensively.  Hibbert's presence in the paint proved problematic for the Heat all night as they shot 36% from the field.  He was also very effective on the offensive end as he posted 24 points and 11 rebounds in the win.

LeBron James and company will look to refocus as they head back to Miami for game 7 of these Eastern Conference Finals.  Although he had a nice game, 29 points with seven rebounds and six assists, the Pacers proved that one man can't do it all no matter how good he is.  James and his team will have to regroup and play as one unit if they want to contend for back-to-back champtionships.  Game 7 is set for Monday night with tipoff coming at 7:30 pm on TNT from the American Airlines Center in Miami.
