The Dallas Cowboys Sign DE Jarius Wynn in Response to All Pro DE DeMarcus Ware’s Quad Injury
With the recent injury to pro bowl defensive end DeMarcus Ware's right quadriceps, Jerry Jones and the Cowboys have signed defensive end Jarius Wynn.
Wynn was cut by San Diego last week after playing in the first five games for the Chargers. He will bring some valued experience to this team as he is a five year veteran out of the University of Georgia. He also spent some time in Green Bay with the Packers when they won their Super Bowl in 2010.
To make this move, someone had to be dropped from the roster. As of Tuesday those players were defensive tackle David Carter and cornerback Chris Greenwood. They have also brought in running back Davin Meggett to help aid the running backs if DeMarco Murray (MCL sprain in left knee) can't go. Meggett has spent time with the Colts and Texans the last two years.
The players will have to get integrated with the teams schemes and style as fast as possible if they want to an impact in Sunday's game. Dallas travels to Philadelphia to take on the Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field with kickoff set for noon and can be seen on FOX.
