Texas Tech basketball played Mississippi State on Saturday. The game tipped off around 5:00 and then wrapped up before 8:00 as a huge victory for the Red Raiders to the tune of 76-50 but it honestly wasn't even that close.

Shortly after that game wrapped up, there was a line of students getting ready at the United Supermarkets Arena for a game on Tuesday. A full 72 hours in advance of the Texas Tech basketball game where they'll host Chris Beard and the Texas Longhorns.

The students set up Raiderville outside of the Arena and have tents and more to hold them over.

People were still leaving the arena from the Mississippi State matchup and the students already had tents set up. Amazing.

Flash forward to Sunday afternoon and the Red Raiders students were partying strong at the USA with Tents and chairs the full length of the stadium.

48 Hours from tip-off, it feels like summer camp.

The Red Raiders faithful that can't participate are pitching in from afar, gifting the students with 10 thousand dollars via a gofundme to keep the students warm, fed, and entertained for the next two days. Seems like you can stay really warm and entertained with 10k.

Even Texas Tech football coach Joey McGuire was getting into the spirit bringing Tacos to the Masses at Raiderland.

And of course, the basketball team had to come through to support their supporters.

We really shouldn't have expected any less right? The Raider Riot has been incredible all season and throwing the Longhorns and Chris Beard into the mix is like gas on a fire.
