Texas Tech Softball Sweeps Series Against Iowa State With a 5-3 Win

Texas Tech's Adrianna Perez has been on fire as of late, breaking up a 3-3 tie against the Iowa State Cyclones with a two run game ending home run. The two run shot gave Tech the 5-3 win against the Cyclones as well as the series sweep. The homer was Perez' team leading 13th home run of the season and was crucial in the Red Raiders victory. The win was Tech's 30th of the season, giving them a 30-7 record overall and 3-2 in Big 12 play. The Red Raiders will continue Big 12 play as they travel to Norman to face off against the Oklahoma Sooners in a three game series.
