Kelsey Dennis allowed only two hits and No. 22 Texas Tech exploded for three runs in the first inning en route to a 5-0 victory Friday night over No. 14 Oklahoma at Rocky Johnson Field. The series-opening win improved Tech to 36-3 overall and 1-2 in Big 12 play entering Saturday’s series finale. The loss drops the Sooners to 28-10 overall and 1-2 in conference.

Saturday showed the Oklahoma bats to come alive and breakthrough with a dramatic 7-6 victory over Tech. Tech trailed 6-0 before getting to the plate and Brittany Tallie (11-3) was chased after only 1 out. Tech would rally for 6 runs in the final two innings, but fell short and fall to 36-4 overall and 1-3 in the Big 12. OU improves the Sooners to 29-10 overall and 2-2 in conference.
