Texas Tech sophomore midfielder Paige Strahan was named Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week after her stellar performance in this past weekends matches against Oklahoma and Iowa State.

Strahan had the game winning goal in the 2-1 victory over Iowa State and the opening goal in Tech's 2-1 victoyr against Oklahoma.  She has a currently holds a five match scoring streak that dates back to the victory against Cal State Fullerton on September 16th.  It's the longest streak for a Red Raider since the '09 season.

Strahan leads the team with four game winning goals which ties the lead in the Big 12 and is second on the team scoring and points with seven goals and 15 points.

It is the third time a Texas Tech player has won Big 12 Player of the Week this season.  Junior Jessica Fuston and freshman Janine Beckie were the other winners.  The Lady Raiders are back in action on Friday with a home match against Baylor.  First Kick is at 7 PM
