Texas Tech Men’s Basketball To Play in Legends Classic in Brooklyn

The hiring of Tubby Smith has brought some good press to Red Raider Basketball.

Texas Tech Men’s Basketball will play in the Legend’s Classis this November in the Barclay’s Center. Also in the tournament are Stanford, Pittsburgh, and Houston.

Tech last played in the Legend’s Classic back in the 2008-2009 season where they lost to Pittsburgh, but defeated Mississippi State in the consolation game.

The tournament will have regional rounds with Stanford, Pitt, and Houston hosting along with Tech from November 17-21.

The host schools will then play November 25-26 with those games carried on the ESPN Networks.
