The Texas Tech football team dominated the Kansas Jayhawks over the weekend to the tune of a 41-14 win. The Red Raiders were 6-for-6 in the red zone with four rushing touchdowns on the afternoon, including scores from QB Henry Colombi, Erik Ezukanma, and Myles Price.

The fourth and toughest rushing touchdown from Texas Tech came when quarterback Donovan Smith, who played his high school senior season as a Frenship Tiger, capped off an 11-play, 42-yard drive with a 5-yard touchdown run where he pummeled a Jayhawks linebacker.

Take a look at the run.

Here's a more cinematic view:

Wait, was that Kansas linebacker Gavin Potter that just got trucked? The one who got runover like he was a fourth-grader playing with all the sixth graders at recess?

If the name Gavin Potter sounds familiar to you, you might remember him from last season when he had two solo tackles against the Red Raiders. Or even possibly from his true freshman debut against the Red Raiders in 2019, when he had six solo tackles to help his Jayhawks squeak out the win.

That's not where I remember him from, though.

I remember Gavin Potter as the troll who wore a Kansas State hoody into his commitment press conference before taking it off to show a bootleg Texas Tech shirt, only to take that off and reveal a painted chest with the Jayhawks insignia emblazed in face paint.

Ben Golan on Twitter put together this masterful clip to prove that karma comes for every man. It's only a matter of time.

Smith finished six rushes for 36 yards and that touchdown, plus connected on four out of five passes for 70 yards. He's been used more and more in the last few weeks and is slowly showing that he has the potential to handle a larger chunk of this Texas Tech offense if needed.

Erik Ezukanma's lone deep catch came on a toss from Donovan Smith.
