The Red Raiders make it two in a row in Big 12 play and move to 3-2 in conference play after a big win against the Iowa State Cyclones 72-52. Kyler Edwards stayed hot in the victor dropping 22 with a career-high 5 threes on only 6 attempts. Davide Moretti added 17 and the returning Terrance Shannon had 11 points off the bench.

For the team it was a tale of two halves. The Red Raiders had 13 turnovers and only scored 27 points in the first before a rousing Vanilla Ice performance warmed the arena and prompted a much better second half where the Red Raiders dropped 45 and only had three turnovers. That second half was broken wide open with just over 7:00 minutes left when a 14 point run turned a 10 point lead into a 24 point lead with 5:00 minutes left.

The Red Raiders next get on the court at TCU against the 12-5 Horned Frogs who will host Texas Tech after losing two straight.
