Texas Tech Football Signs 7 Junior College Transfers

Texas Tech Football announced Wednesday the signing of seven junior-college transfers to help the Red Raiders turn around the program after a 5-7 season this past fall including a trio of stars from Riverside (CA) Community College.

Defensive End Lee Adams, Linebacker Will Smith, and Wide Receiver/Kick Returner Sadale Foster signed with the Red Raiders from Riverside CC along with Wide Receiver Javon Bell, Offensive Tackle Rashad Fortenberry, Linebacker/Safety Chris Payne,  and Safety Lee Adams will be eligible for Spring drills in 2012.

Wednesday was the first day for mid-term transfers to sign financial aid agreements with their new schools they will attend in spring.
