Texas Tech Basketball has 3 games Ranked in Top 50 Most Viewed Events in 2019

The Texas Tech Men's Basketball team took the world by storm last season and now we have physical proof. SPORTSMEDIAWATCH.COM has put out a list of the top 50 watched sporting events of 2019 so far and the Red Raider basketball team notched three games on the list.

The National Championship game, that everyone said would boring, ranked 13th with more than 19 million viewers. They also took the 20th most watched spot with their Final 4 game against Michigan state being watched by more than 15 Million people. Not a bad weekend. Especially considering the Elite 8 game against Gonzaga is also on the list at number 46 with more than 7 million viewers.

The Red Raiders obviously a by product of the moment, but they out performed the NBA Finals, the other Final 4 game and the Longhorn featuring Sugar Bowl. Impressive numbers to say the least.

Patrick Mahomes also makes the list twice and with only two games played in 2019 the Chiefs place twice in the top 10, which is full of NFL games.
