Strength of schedule will not be a problem for Texas Tech basketball, which has announced that they'll be taking on USC in the championship round of the 2018 Hall of Fame Classic.

According to TexasTech.com, the four-team championship round bracket is slated for Nov. 19 & 20, 2018 at the Sprint Center, also home of the Big 12 Championships, in Kansas City, Missouri. The Red Raiders will also square off against either Nebraska from the Big Ten Conference, or Missouri State from the Missouri Valley Conference.

The match-up with the Trojans is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. and will be televised by ESPN2.

Also part of the Hall of Fame classic will be home games against Mississippi Valley State (Nov. 9) and Southeastern Louisiana (Nov. 13). These are known as the Campus Rounds, as part of the campus rounds at the United Supermarkets Arena. Game times and television networks for those match-ups will be announced at a later date.

The Hall of Fame Classic is an event that celebrates the induction ceremony for the National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame. That event will be held the same weekend as the Championship Round.
