Texas Tech Baseball to Have 5 Nationally Televised Conference Games
Today the TV schedule for the 2018 college baseball season was released and for the nationally ranked Red Raiders, they were chosen to have five of their conference games nationally televised.
It all kicks off with a home matchup against the West Virginia Mountaineers on March, 30th, that will begin at 6:30 p.m. central and will be broadcasted by FS1. Their series with the TCU Horned Frogs that begins on Friday, April 27th will be broadcasted on both FS1 as well as ESPNU.
The Friday matchup with the Frogs will be set for 8:00 p.m. on FS1, while the Saturday and Sunday games will be shown on ESPNU. Their final televised conference game will come when the Red Raiders host the Texas Longhorns on Saturday, May 1st, with first pitch set for 1 p.m. with the broadcast coming from ESPNU.
The Red Raiders open the 2018 season at home with a four-game set against the Maine Black Bears, beginning Friday, February 16, at 2 p.m. at Dan Law Field at Rip Griffin Park.
