The double-elimination Big 12 Baseball tournament saw Texas Tech go into a 0-1 hole to open the tourney after they lost 12 to 2 to the TCU Horned Frogs.

They followed their loss by surviving an elimination game against the Oklahoma State Cowboys. Texas Tech beat the boys 6-2 with the Texas Tech bullpen throwing the entire game and dominating several innings.

Cameron Warren was the offensive star that got it going early hitting back to back home runs in the second and third innings.

Junior right-handed pitcher Ryan Shetter got the start on Thursday afternoon, tossing 4.0 strong innings against the Pokes. He gave up two runs on four hits and struck out three before giving way to fellow junior righty Ty Harpenau, who threw 3.0 scoreless frames in relief, allowing just two hits, walking one and punching out another to improve to 6-2 this season.

The Red Raiders will play West Virginia for the chance to continue in the Big 12 Tournament.
