The Texas Rangers have been on a roll since snapping a six-game losing streak from earlier this month.

That hot streak continued Friday night in Arlington as the Rangers used 6-plus innings of shutout pitching from Martin Perez to defeat the Cincinnati Reds 4-0.

Texas jumped on the Reds in the first two innings with an RBI hit from Adrian Beltre in the first and Jurickson Projar and David Murphy scoring on bases loaded walks in the second.

Texas and Cincinnati play again tonight at 6:15 on FOX television.
