Texas Rangers Finally Make New Manager Hire Official
The Texas Rangers officially announced Chris Woodward today as the manager of the team at an introductory press conference. Woodward has been with the Los Angeles Dodgers since 2016 and was the third base coach for the two World Series losses, so automatically he can relate to the Texas Rangers fanbase.
Both Woodward and General Manager Jon Daniels spoke at the press conference using buzzwords like culture to sell the new manager. Daniels called Woodward an, "Entergetic, winning manager."
Woodward also said he loves high expectations, "I embrace expectations." Woodward said, "I want our players to have that belief inside them. I don't care that people say we aren't going to win the World Series. I'm going to instill that belief in our players every day."
