
Texas Rangers Defeat the Toronto Blue Jays 7-6
Mitch Moreland hit a seventh inning with a home run against reliever Octavio Dotel (0-1) to push the Texas Rangers to a 7-6 victory over the Toronto Blue Jays on Wednesday night snapping a two game losing streak to the Jays.
Toronto OF Juan Rivera hit a solo home run with two outs in the top of the seventh off rookie reliever Cody Eppley to tie the game at 6-6.
Michael Young and Mike Napoli had two-run doubles in Texas' six-run third. Eppley (1-0) allowed one run and one hit in two innings for his first major league win.
Texas and Toronto wrap up their four-game series Thursday at 1:05pm.
