The Texas Rangers have now lost four straight games along with seven of their last ten as they now sit at 31-34 after their 8-5 loss on Tuesday to the Miami Marlins.  Manager Ron Washington admitted afterward there were certain aspects of his team's performance that disappointed him in this one.

"Yeah, in the end, we didn't play defense the way we are capable of playing," Washington said. "That hurt us. We fought back to get into that game and then shot ourselves in the foot. I get a little upset but I don't get frustrated. We've still got work to do."  Texas' starter Colby Lewis went just five innings while allowing three runs on seven hits and walking four Marlin batters to earn the loss.

Texas will wrap up their two game mid-week series against the Marlins today with first pitch for that game set for 7:05pm from Globe Life Park in Arlington and can be seen on FOX Sports SW.
