Marlins’ Robert Dugger To Make MLB Debut Vs Mets
Today at 3:10 former Red Raider Robert Dugger will make his MLB debut against the New York Mets in the first game of a doubleheader in a duel with Cy Young winner Jacob deGrom.
The Marlins prospect has flourished in Miami after starting his Minor League career in the Seattle Mariners organization.
You might remember Dugger as a reliever at Texas Tech but he's been stretched out as a starter in the Minors. In Dugger's time as a Minor Leaguer he's logged more than 400 innings and carries a 3.83 ERA and a winning record. He might just be up for the day as a Marlin, but he could be back in September logging quality innings for the Marlins to close out the season.
You can watch Dugger's Debut on the MLB Network at 3:10 p.m.
