Texas DPS Arrest Suspect After Car Chase Through Lubbock
Texas Department of Public Safety troopers apprehended a suspect after a chase throughout Lubbock Thursday morning (Jan. 3rd).
The suspect, identified as Christopher Antwan Thompson, was driving a Dodge minivan when it crashed into at least four vehicles during the chase, which started around 10:45 a.m. on US 62, according to KAMC News.
One of the accidents related to the chase with the suspect occurred on the northbound I-27 exit ramp at the Marsha Sharp Freeway. One person was injured in that specific accident, and LPD continues to investigate.
Meanwhile, Texas DPS arrested Thompson after he tried to escape pursuit on foot in the 1800 block of East Kent Street. The group says Thompson was wanted for a parole violation.
Thompson was booked into the Lubbock County Jail.
