Texas A&M and Missouri have agreed to pay a total of $24.8 million, $12.4 million each, to leave the Big 12 and join the SEC for the upcoming football season.

Texas A&M and Mizzou were both accepted into the SEC quite some time ago, but couldn't seem to come to an agreement as to what exactly the exit fee should be.

In addition to the $12.4 million, Mizzou will also pay $500,000 to cover officiating expenses for 2011-12.

Texas A&M is also set to receive unspecified benefits from the Big 12's new television contract with Fox Sports and "certain other concessions." What that means, and what the extinct of the benefits are is currently unknown.

We had known it was going to happen for awhile, but its now official, Texas A&M and Missouri are gone and are never coming back.

We will keep an eye on the amount of money A&M is set to receive from Fox Sports. What do you think? Let us know below.
