Patrick Mahomes is the face of the NFL as the quarterback of the Kansas City Chiefs. The former NFL MVP and Super Bowl Champion is heading toward another great season with the Chiefs on an absolute tear while wrapping up a 6th straight AFC West crown. Mahomes and the Chiefs beat the Steelers this weekend for their 8th straight win and a playoff spot.

Mahomes led the way with three touchdowns and 258 yards with zero interceptions in the 36-10 victory.

Mahomes isn't the only Red Raider making waves in the NFL though. Dallas Cowboys offensive lineman Terence Steele became the first Red Raider to score a point for the Dallas Cowboys since Lin Elliott was kicking extra points for the Cowboys in their rout of the Bills in the Super Bowls of the early 90s.

The play came on the goal line, as most lineman touchdowns do, when the Cowboys were already up on the Washington Football team 28-7. Steele lined up at tight end as a tackle eligible player and leaked into the endzone after a brief block. Dak delivered the ball. In the 56-10 victory, Dak threw a pass to Steele, an OL, a RB, a WR and a TE. He was the first to do so in a single game since Kurt Warner was on the Rams.

Texas Tech really does produce great WRs.

A giant spike went into the stands, no worries though, Zeke Elliott went and got the ball for Steele after his first reception and touchdown of his NFL career.

Steele wasn't the only Red Raider to get his first touchdown of their NFL career. Antoine Wesley got one in the Cardinals loss on Christmas Day. The first of many I'm sure.

A cooler angle.

Texas Tech isn't just offense though, you know? Jordyn Brooks has been outstanding for the Seahawks this season. In a close loss to the Bears, Brooks had double-digit tackles including six solo tackles and two pass deflections for a solid day in the snow. Here's a great shot of Brooks in action making a huge play.
