A few weeks ago, Texas Tech police arrested 22-year-old Johnathan Phillip (above) Lopez for indecent exposure after he allegedly exposed himself in public and touched himself inappropriately. Lopez is currently in custody in the Lubbock County Detention Center.

KAMC News reports that Grant Gerlich, the President of the Tech Terrace U.N.I.T. Neighborhood Association, said many posts concerning these acts are posted on the Nextdoor app.

Gerlich goes on to say there were more incidents, not just the incident involving Lopez. He recounted one story to KAMC of a young woman who was followed by a man in a white car and verbally confronted by him.

"She was freaking out," Gerlich told KAMC News. "Yeah, she was concerned and for good reason."
