Pickup Truck Crash in Lubbock Leaves Driver in Hospital
The Lubbock Police Department received calls 8:25 a.m. Sunday morning of a pickup truck that had crashed in the area of 1400 North Loop 289.
Officers arrived on scene and located the 24-year-old male driver with serious injuries. He was transported by ambulance to the hospital.
Through the initial investigation, it appears the driver was traveling eastbound in 1400 block of North Loop 289 and attempted to exit the loop onto the eastbound access road. The pickup truck rolled and struck a stop sign and wooden telephone pole. It also appears that the driver was not wearing a seat belt.
