In addition to voting on Texas Constitutional Amendments, Lubbock County voters will also be voting on their property tax rate. New Deal ISD and Lubbock voters are considering bonds
The ordinance was passed in Lubbock, with 62.46 percent of voters, voting in favor of the ordinance. The raw vote total was 21,400 in favor and 12,860 against.
Early Voting runs from April 19-27, in advance of Election Day on Saturday, May 1. Early Voting locations include the Texas Tech Rec Center & Citizens Tower
