Summer Grilling Tips We Can All Use
If you haven't already, it's time to fire up that grill and throw some delicious meat over the fire. Brenda Duby with United Supermarkets joined me today to give a few tips on cleaning your grill and a few temps on how to cook your favorite piece of meat.
One suggestion Duby brought up when cleaning your grill is to use a grill brush on the warm grill. If you're like me and your brush is looking shabby, head to Market Street and pick up a new one. Duby also suggested oiling up your grill so that way you don't over oil your meat.
When it comes to cooking different meat. Duby said temperatures you want to aim for vary. For chicken, you want to hit 165 degrees. For pork, anywhere between 145-155 degrees is safe. Just be careful to not overcook pork as it can dry out. Fish cooks up really fast and if you need information on how to cook your favorite fish on the grill, the folks at United Supermarkets can help.
