Stephen Hagan was on fire in the Texas Tech Red Raiders 12-7 victory over New Mexico State, belting two three-run homers. Barret Barnes also played well, going two of three. Scott LeJeune also had a good night going 3-5.

The Red Raiders got a much needed victory over a good New Mexico State team that stands at 30-14 on the season, and has lost only 5 games at home the entire season. Tech was almost out of the game from the very beginning, as they were down 5-0 in the third. Texas Tech made a feverish comeback, mainly thanks to Hagen who blasted two three run homers in back to back innings.

The Red Raiders continue their current road trip, wrapping up the Big 12 season with three games at Texas A&M. The Red Raiders currently stand at 26-22 on the season, and desperately need a series win against Texas A&M if there is any hope of post season play for Texas Tech.
