Josh Hamilton has been without a doubt the best player in the league this year. Aside from hitting a league leading 15 home runs, Hamilton is batting nearly .400 on the season. Hamilton came into the game on a tear, going 5-5 with 4 homers in the second game against the Orioles that the Rangers won 10-3.

In the first game of the doubleheader, the Orioles took the game against the Rangers 6-5, with the Orioles hitting 5 homers in the match up. The Orioles also hit an AL record 3 home runs at their first 3 at bats.

In the second game, the Rangers managed the 7-3 victory, helped by Hamilton and his two run homer in the first inning. Cruz, Napoli, and Andrus also had hits for the Rangers.
