Nirvana Burger In Lubbock Is Closing
If you haven't had the chance to try a Nirvana burger, time is running out and it's running out quickly. The owners of the food truck have been trying to keep it going but according to a Facebook post, it looks like they are stretched pretty thin between family and business. Nirvana Burger is owned by the same people behind Hill BBQ and Yellow House Coffee.
They also have other businesses and children and while they would have loved to have kept Nirvana going, it can all be too much even if it is successful and by all accounts, they were. That's why they are selling the business and hoping that someone who loved eating at Nirvana Burger and someone who loves being a small business owner will step up and call them and make an offer.
Our devout following has been what has kept us going for this long. As many of you know, Andrew and I have our hands in a lot of things…mainly our business @hill_barbecue and @yellow_house_cafe. We also have 2 other side businesses and 3 little girls. We are insanely busy people and have found that it is time for us to spend a little more time in our other businesses and with our beautiful babies. I hate to be closing our doors and the Nirvana Burger brand has grown so close to my heart However, this is a thriving and fully operational hip as hell burger business and I would like to announce that it is officially up for sale. We are going to treat this as a first come, first served basis so if working for yourself, food truck life and just being a small business owner in a town that loves (and I mean LOVES) small businesses is your thing..then please reach out to us! This business has truly blessed us in sooo many ways…it would be an honor to pass it along to bless another family.
Again, if you haven't tried Nirvana Burger, you have Friday and Saturday left. They will be open from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at 2668 34th Street in Lubbock. Who knows, maybe you will be motivated to buy the business!
