Nightmare On 19th Street’s ‘Mayhem’ Scares Lubbock Grads Silly [Photos]
The scariest day of the year in Lubbock isn't Halloween; it's the day after school lets out.
Local haunted attraction Nightmare On 19th Street, which usually only opens in October, swung its doors open on May 27 for a special, one-day only event appropriately called Mayhem.
Attendees lurched through the creaky, crimson halls of Blood Moon Manor; explored the unnerving sprawl of The Wastelands; screeched inside the skeleton-strewn pirate ship within The City of the Lost; and faced the creepiest clowns this side of Pennywise inside the perception-altering Clowntown 3D.
