The holidays are here and there will be a new Christmas event to enjoy in Lubbock.

Eberley Brooks Events is putting on its first-ever Experience Christmas event. You will be able to do things like Santa, live concerts, shopping, snow globe, photo opportunities, s’mores, hot cocoa, and so much more.

One of the owners, Misty Brashier spoke to me about their new event. It will be a community-wide event and will continue to be a yearly event for Lubbock.

"This is something we've wanted to do for quite some time. Lubbock is missing out on some traditions. When I grew up there were a lot more things around Christmas time you could do. Lubbock is missing out on that and we wanted to be able to start a place where you could have family traditions and memories," said Brashier.

Each one of their faculties will have different things going on. For example in their barn, there will be a vendor's market with more than 30 vendors. There will be food trucks in the parking lots, hot cocoa bars, and smores you can roast with the Grinch. There will be a huge inflatable snow globe families can take pictures inside. They will also have a candy cane-lighted walking trail and other Christmas surprises.

"We won't host any other major events that month. We are still hosting small private parties for 50 people or less. We have one faculty to do that," said Brashier.

In their chapel, they will host nightly concerts at 6:30, 7:30 and 8:30 p.m. from different people around the community like choirs, bands, individuals and all family-friendly. Santa will also be around to take pictures, write letters, and other activities.

They will also offer two limited seating Breakfast with Santa dates on December 10th and 17th from 9 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. with a full buffet and Santa reading a book to the kids. Clay Street will also be there to do a craft with the kids. Tickets go on sale November 30th.

The event will start on Thanksgiving, go from November 24th - 26th, December 2nd - 4th and nightly from December 8th through the 23rd. All happening from 5:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. It will cost you $20 per person to get in, unless you have a group over 15 you can get a discount.

You can find out more or get tickets on their website.
