McLane Mannix Notches Texas Tech’s 1st Touchdown of 2019 [Video]

Alan Bowman and the David Yost offense looked sharp to open the 2019 season, flying down the field with Texas Tech's sophomore QB going a perfect 8-for-8 with 76 yards and ending with a McLane Mannix touchdown.

Bowman was slicing short crisp passes to the sidelines all the way down, completing passes to both sidelines and a hot route to TE Donta Thompson up the middle.

To finish the drive, it was McLane Mannix. The transfer from Nevada took a quick pass from Bowman and ran behind a dominant block from Erik Ezukanma to sneak in for the first touchdown of 2019.
