May is Celiac Awareness Month, and for those who are allergic to gluten or know someone who is, United Supermarkets is spending the month giving tips and advice on how to deal with being gluten-free.

Brenda Duby with United Supermarkets joined me this week to discuss the gluten-free options at Market Street and all United Supermarket locations.

Duby said that those who are gluten-free should look around each of their stores for items that are tagged "gluten-free." There are thousands of products to choose from, she said.

Duby brought up that gluten-free products have really come along in both quantity and quality. She also suggested that if you can't have gluten, sign up for a dietitian-led tour of their stores. The dietitians at United stores can answer questions and point out products you can have. You can sign-up for tours at MarketStreetUnited.com.
