Texas Tech's coaching staff has completed it's first full class and it seems like a good one. So far, 18 of the 20 commits have signed this morning and the Michigan State transfer as well.

That's 19 players in the early class. Now, Texas Tech has a chance to lock in their needs and focus hard on 4 or 5 more players before the February signing day. They can also now focus on grad transfers for the remaining scholarship spaces.

There were two high school players that didn't sign today that had previously committed to Texas Tech, but just because they haven't signed that doesn't mean they won't in February.

If you pay attention to rankings as the end all, be all of a recruiting class then you will see Texas Tech listed as the 7th best class on 247sports.com, but they have the 6th best average rating on their recruits and the 4th biggest class so far. From 4-10 the difference in the classes is minute.

As it stands now, here are the 19 brand new Red Raiders as announced by Texas Tech. Follow along on kkam.com for a more detailed look at the recruits in the next few weeks.
