A Lubbock man has pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography, as well as admitting sexually assaulting a girl around 1 to 2 years of age when he was either 18 or 19.

KAMC News reports that Kik Interactive tipped off police about suspect child pornography, and investigators eventually were lead to 22-year-old Elyas Anthony Rocha.

Rocha admitted to officers that he used Kik to download over 600 images and videos of child pornography. He also admitted to using other sites to download around 400 images and videos.

It's also said that Rocha admitted when he was either 18 or 19 that he sexually abused a girl who was either 1 or 2 years old. He apparently recorded a video of himself during the act. State records also say that Rocha possessed a video of an adult woman sexually abusing a boy around 1 to 2-years-old.

Rocha has been charged at the state level with aggravated sexual assault of a child.

If Rocha's plea deal is approved by a judge, he faces up to 20 years in prison. The state-level charge is a first-degree felony with a maximum penalty of 99 years in prison.

The plea deal does not address the state-level charges.

Rocha remained in the Lubbock County Detention Center as of Thursday, October 1st with bonds totaling $350,000.
